OUR MISSION:
To provide
young people in the isolated coastal and rural communities
and ranches in the Municipio of Loreto, Baja California
Sur an opportunity for a promising future. We do this by
providing opportunities and financial assistance so that
young people can acquire skills suitable for alternative
local employment. This will allow many of the young
people to remain in their communities rather than seek
jobs as unskilled itinerant workers elsewhere.

Alternatives
to commercial fishing and cattle and goat ranching also will
relieve some of the pressure on the natural resources of the
area by decreasing fishing and grazing effort, and in the end
contribute to restoring a sustainable and balanced ecosystem to
the Sea of Cortez, its islands and coastal mountains. |
